
Don Miller Workshop: Taiji Walking
Service Description
Tai Chi and Neijia Walking Practices include the Basic Slow walk (Cat Walking), Backward Walking, Fast/Large "Yang" Walking, Super-slow ("Crawling"), Walking with Objects, and many more. Often done as a "warmup" to other Tai Chi practices (forms, push hands, etc) they are actually in and of themselves powerful and profound energy practices, that can open up new realms of ability and awareness. Also, practicing them outside, in nature, can be even more profound. This workshop will include instruction in 7 different Tai Chi Walking practices: 1. Basic Tai Chi Walk: slow, mindful, level/lowered, feel ground-earth 2. Yang Big Walk 3. Backward walk 4. Multi-directional 5. Super Slow ("crawling") 6. Carrying Rocks, Weights, etc 7. Horse and Buggy (2-Person Practice)
